123: Porque te pueden pegar un tiro en la cabeza y (con suerte) el casco te salvará la vida.
Este es nuevo, nunca hubiese pensado en ello… pero se ve que cualquier cosa puede pasar…

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Police said that a cyclist was saved by his helmet after an argument escalated to a shooting on Sunday morning.
The shooting happened at 1360 Tunnel Road just before 11:30 a.m.
Police said that Alan Simons and his wife, along with their 3-year-old son, were riding their bikes along Tunnel Road. They said that Simons’ son was riding in a seat attached to Simons’ bike.
Investigators said that Simons was stopped by 42-year-old Charles Diez, of Swannanoa, who began arguing with Simons about the boy being on the bike in high-traffic area. They said Diez then pulled out a handgun and fired.
Police said that Simons was struck in his helmet. They said that the bullet passed through the outer lining of Simons’ helmet but did not reach his head.
Diez was charged with attempted first-degree murder and was being held at the Buncombe County Detention Center on $500,000 bond.
Kelley Webb with the Asheville Fire and Rescue Department said that Diez has been an engineer for the department for 17 years. She said Diez has been placed on paid investigative leave.

Yo SIEMPRE SIEMPRE SIEMPRE llevo CASCO, aunque no haga viento y esté subiendo un puerto y de la impresión de que como te soplen un poco en el coco prendes!!!
….. pero el casco siempre siempre puesto!!!

Es como llevar gafas, en cuento te acostumbras lo que se te hace raro es no llevarlo, yo me lo pongo aunque sean sólo para ir a hacer un recado a 10 minutos de distancia… pero igual me animo a ponérmelo cuando no vaya en bici, que lo mismo te pegan un tiro que te cae una maceta o te caga una paloma
